Columbian Land  Colombia is surrounded by rainforest and mountains  The land has rich minds of emeralds  The people farm rich fields of coffee  The country has fresh palm fruits and citrus fruits.

Columbia’s people Colombia has over 44,050,000 people Native language for the people is Spanish. The religion of most Columbians are Roman Catholic.

Columbians crime rate Columbia is one of the most violent countries in the world. Armed groups assassinated 20 mayoral candidates and 20 mayors, Gorilla’s kidnapped 200 during the 2000 elections. 2001, Fundación País Libre reported 2856 cases of kidnapping guerrillas and paramilitaries, are the ones to blame for most of these violent crimes.

Out Of War Out of War, is about children who live in Columbia and want peace They do not want war They have lost many friends and family members Their own personal disasters allowed them to want change They work hard to save lives and hopefully to stop young kids from joining armed groups (gangs).

Out Of War Mayerly is a 16 year who helped in the peace movement She lost her best friend to a gun fight that broke out on a street when they were playing a game She started the peace movement and stated the children's vote for peace.

Out Of War Juan Elias he is 18 He lost his father and his cousin. They were killed by armed group. Juan soon started to do a peace movement He soon became the child mayor of his town and went to run and help out UNICEF.
