Music in our School “C.E.I.P. Castra Caecilia”

Music is present all around the school From Kinder garden through songs and dances …

To Primary. Music is a great vehicle to learn English...

Or any other subject through songs, such as science and maths.

Music, as subject, is taught in all Primary. The school has a fully equipped music classroom where the students learn to play the recorder..

We also bring to the school some musicians to teach the kids to play some instruments like the drums...

…or to show how Celtic music sounds.

On holidays we do some activities where music is also present. Carnival Extremadura Day.

Grade 3 students attend classical music concerts where the musicians explain the way some instruments are played.
