Problem This problem is some what serious because it affects the over weight teenagers in the school who eat to much junk food. So this would possibly encourage them to eat healthier. The problem is some what wide spread, but the problem is mainly in our neighborhood than the school. The US is very wide spread and is a very big problem with obese people. This should be handled by the government because they provide our school with its funds and necessities. Some other people should try to solve the problem such as parents or guardians because they should care about what their kids eat. There is a public policy for dealing with this problem but it has not been in good use. The policy is not adequate because the policy only takes away the bad food but does not replace it with good food. It has not been in forced for a long time because they just got rid of the vending machines. Well there are some disagreements about the issue, like for example people say its not a big issue and should be left alone. Most of the other groups involved are the students teaches and parents. The have the same interest as us which is too get healthy food in our school. There mostly taking the same side as us and want our policy to go threw. We have more support then we did before. Some of the supports suggest taking it to the town hall. The health food companies are mainly responsible for the health issue in the school.

Obesity Obesity is now at and all time high. The percent of obesity is increasing yearly and most of it is teenagers and young adults.
