Appalachian Adventure Trail Hike Hike the Appalachian Trail through Tennessee mountain country. Camp outdoors and live in the wild. Learn about America’s Natural and Historic Landscape. Learn about American wildlife and ecosystems. We have 1 day trips of mild leisure walking and… 6 day trips that span 80 miles of beautiful open mountain landscape, fully emerged in nature with little urban contact.

What to Expect? Tour Guide and Outfitter service only! We have weekly hikes All supplies and gear will be supplied to hikers for a small renting fee. Meals will be cooked and made on the trail by the guide. diner options are open at some points on the trail if desired. Lodging for overnight trips will be tents and sleeping bags under the stars of the Eastern sky. Classes will be given to ensure hiker safety as well as increase knowledge of surrounding environment. Classes on hiking essentials, how to pack for trail hikes, animal identification, first aid, and plant identification.

What we Offer One day trail hike 7 miles one way, can either get picked up or walk back, 14 miles total. Two day trail hike with one night camp out. 20 miles Three to four day trail hike with 2 to 3 nights camping under the stars miles Four to five day trail hike with 3 to 4 nights camping miles Classes are held on day one of your trip. 1 Day Hike The one day hike consists of a leisure, at your own pace walk about 7 miles to Mollies Ridge. There are historic buildings that have been there since the trail was founded. Birds and wildlife are in abundance depending on what time of year you hike. Hikers can attend any classes offered by the guide for free. However if at the end of the 7 miles you do not want to walk the 7 miles back, the guide can arrange for a van to pick you up and bring you back for a fee of $20 a person.

All Overnight trips!!!! Mandatory day for classes, which means a 2-3 day hike is 4 days and etc… All hikers must attend every class. NO BUILDINGS!!! All accommodations are provided by the guide, which includes a tent and sleeping bag for each hiker, or multiple person tents if applicable. NO BATHROOMS!!!, unless it is a fixed up area, but they are not always available.

1–2 Day Hike $350 Day 1: Classes on hiker safety, first aid, conservation, and the importance of water in the morning. Followed by lunch then issue of all gear and equipment. Followed by classes for packing, wildlife, plants, and poisonous things to watch for. Day 2: Start hiking the trail up to Mollies Ridge which is 7 miles away. A nice historic site good for pictures. Then hike to campsite one which is about 12 miles into the hike. Day 3: At sunrise wake up and start hiking directly after breakfast and pack up. Hike and site see all day long stopping whenever needed. Lunch will be served by the guide on the trail. After reaching the pick up point 22 miles from the start point a van will be waiting to return you. Everyone will also be taken out to dinner at a restaurant, of the guides choosing, in town.

2-3 Day Hike $475 Day 1: classes on hiker safety, first aid, conservation, and the importance of water in the morning. Followed by lunch then issue of all gear and equipment. Followed by classes for packing, wildlife, plants, and poisonous things to watch for. Day 2: start hiking the trail up to Mollies Ridge which is 7 miles away. Nice historic site good for pictures. Then hike to campsite one Derreck Knob which is about 12 miles into the hike. Day 3: sunrise wake up start hiking directly after breakfast and pack up. Hike and site see all day long stopping whenever needed. Lunch will be served by the guide on the trail. Hiking will continue until campsite two is reached tri-corner knob about 35 miles from the start of the hike. Day 4: Again sunrise wake up and start hiking directly after breakfast and pack up. Hike and site see all day long stopping as needed. Lunch is served by the guide on the trail or if available food places hikers may purchase their own food. Regardless of this all fees stay the same and leftover food is used at guides discretion. After hiking about 52 miles you will reach the pick up point and a van will return you to the starting point. All hikers will be taken out to a restaurant, of the guides choosing, in town.

4-5 Day Hike $600 Day 1: classes on hiker safety, first aid, conservation, and the importance of water in the morning. Followed by lunch then issue of all gear and equipment. Followed by classes for packing, wildlife, plants, and poisonous things to watch for. Day 2: start hiking the trail up to mollies ridge which is 7 miles away. Nice historic site good for pictures. Continue hiking and site seeing until campsite four is reached which is Walnut Mountain about 66 miles from the start. Day 6: A sunrise wake up and start hiking directly after breakfast and pack up. Hike and site see all day long stopping when necessary. Reaching the pick up point, about 71 miles from the start of the hike, a van will be waiting to take hikers to a restaurant, of the guides choosing in town.
