Creating FrontPage Tasks The task view allows you to add information about what you want to accomplish when creating your Web site.

Adding a Task Note: Before you can add a Task your web page must be open. To add a task: –Select Edit → Add Task the text dialog will appear as shown here. –You can then enter information about your task by filling in the fields. –After you have filled in your information click Ok. Notice, the task is now listed on your Task table.

Editing a Task To edit a task, you first need to select the task you want to edit from the task table. 1)Click the task in the Task Table that you want to edit. 2)Select Edit →Tasks → Edit 3)Right click on the task in the table and then choose edit from the pop-up menu. Or, you could Double click on the task in the Task table to open the Task Detail dialog box. The task detail dialog box allows you to view the current task and change the information if necessary!! Note: The Task Detail dialog box looks just like the New Task dialog box.

Deleting a Task To delete a task is easy, 1) Select the task you want to delete on the table list 2)and press the delete key on your keyboard The Confirm Delete dialog box will appear click Yes and the task will be remove from the Task table.

Starting a Task Once you have entered the tasks in the task table you need to start the tasks. To do this, 1)Select Edit → Task → Start Task or 1)Right Click on the task in the Tasks table and select Start Task from the pop-up menu. Note: The task

Completing a Task Once a task is completed you need to let FrontPage that the task has been completed To do this, 1)Select Edit → Mark Complete Or 2)Right Click on the task and select Mark Complete option on the pop-up menu. Note: Once the task has been Mark Complete, the circle on the left of the task status turns from red to green and the status name changes to Complete
