Graphic Design (T-Shirt) Catie Pool 4 th period

I learned… In doing this project I learned that I am not patient and when things go wrong I get frustrated. I also learned that you have to be very specific when designing a T- shirt.

Challenges… One of the challenges in this project was when your design came out sometimes words were misspelled or things were not in the right place and you had to go back and completely fix it.

In the future… In the future if I ever have an activity that T- shirts would be really creative and fun to do, now I know how to create an awesome design that I can take and make a really cool activity.

Apply to Core Classes English-Well obviously you are going to have to know how to read. Math- there are different measurements that you have to do to get the design you want and the sizes right so that it doesn’t come off the page. Science- when the t-shirt is on the hot plate thing, there is a chemical reaction, it melts the sticky stuff so your design stays on the shirt. History- the invention of the heat press allowed us to quickly finish this project.

I Didn’t Know That… I didn’t know that in order to complete your t-shirt you had to print it differently and use a different type of paper. Technology definitely has its mysteries just waiting to be solved.
