How To Silkscreen A T-Shirt! Mr. Hobbs Art

You Must Follow These Steps to Print your T-Shirt: 1. Find a partner to work with. 2. Place your T-shirt down on clean newspaper. 3. Put a piece of cardboard inside the T-shirt so the ink won’t bleed through. 4. Make sure there is tape on the bottom of your silkscreen to keep the ink from bleeding onto your shirt. 5. Place your stencil on your shirt and adjust it to where you want the image to be printed. 6. Place a bead of ink at the top of the screen. Make sure it goes from one end of frame to the other so the ink will cover the whole image.

1. Place the screen flat against your t-shirt and have a partner hold down the frame. 2. Press down firmly with a squeegee and with one firm sweep, pass the squeegee across the screen. 3. Turn the squeegee around and do another pass across the screen Repeat this process until the image has been printed onto your shirt You can check the progress by lifting the screen slightly and taking a peek at the shirt Once done, lift the screen, remove the image from the screen and leave shirt to dry.
