2012 Successes (from 2012 Business Plan) New 2011 Fire Engine from Pierce Dedicated training ground nearing completion Signed a first Collective Agreement with the IAFF Local 4810 (FST’s) Ongoing POC recruitment program Decrease in re-inspections due to improved compliance through education and enforcement

2012 Successes (new in 2012) “Surviving” structural damage to firehall admin area from water main break on August 1 st Initiated residential sprinkler awareness program Summer Student updated website and Pre-Plans Donated older defibrillators to Public Access Defibrillation program at City Hall and Works Yard No residential structure fires to this point in 2012 and only three serious incidents
