The Challenge and My Aim  To reduce the consumption of water in my community.  To conserve and protect the resource (i.e.- water).  To take care and preserve for our biosphere and spread awareness about the importance of saving water.

Why?  It is essential that we care for our resources and preserve them before it gets’ too late.  It is important that we don’t take these resources (which are depleting at a rapid rate) for granted  Water is a resource for which it is impossible to find an alternative as compared to other resources and this is why I want to help by doing my bit for the Earth and for my community.

Ideas for this Challenge  A “Blue Walkathon” and a Fair to highlight the importance of saving water  School Seminars to spread awareness among the students  Create an online class and allow youth to join in from different parts of the world and spread awareness in their localities  A member of each family in your district could probably keep a record of the increase/decrease in water consumption in the house  Create an Earth Charter youth group under the name Earth Charter and Blue Youth Group and co-ordinate as a team in different parts of the world

My Target My target is to reach out to at least 5-7 nations around the world as statistics show that: =BY 2025 AT LEAST 45 COUNTRIES WILL BE EXPERIENCING WATER SCARCITY AND WILL BE COUNTRIES WITH WATER SHORTAGE=
