Lighting Equipment

Dimmer Rack The Dimmer Rack is the device that powers each light connected to it. Each individual outlet is controlled by the Lighting Desk

Lighting Desk The Lighting Desk is a control unit for the Dimmer Rack. Sliders and buttons to control individual lights. More advanced lighting desks can be pre programmed with unique combinations of lights

Lights The Lights are connected to the Dimmer Rack. They are focused onto stage elements, sets or performers. There are various Lighting types but all require a Lamp (globe), newer Lighting utilises LED technology.

Cabling Lights are connected to the dimmer rack using extension cabling that is suitably rated for lighting use. A DMX512 cable is used to connect the Lighting Desk to the Dimmer
