FOMMS 2015: Budget Budget The total conference expenses are estimated at $144,925 − Facilitation fees and administrative expenses = $52,300 (including $19,160 overhead to CACHE) − Reception, food, and banquet expenses = $45,080 − Invited speaker travel and registration fees and FOMMS medal = $36,795 − On-site expenses for poster sessions and workshops = $3,500 − 5% contingency factor = $7,250 Hotel room charges are $159/night. For 135 participants, the real per-participant conference cost is approximately $1,074, which is almost identical to the cost in Tentative registration fees are $595 for students, $695 for regular registration, and $795 for late registration. These fees are identical to those in 2012 and include many meals during the conference. To make up the difference between the actual cost and the income from registration fees, it is important that we find external support for the meeting. Fundraising March 2014: Proposal for $13,910 submitted to DOE June 2014: NSF proposal to be submitted Summer 2014: Fundraising from software companies and industry
