Rationale Purpose – Describes skills and services – Promotes consistency – Provides a framework for the evaluation of services – Guides advocacy efforts and service delivery decisions Advantages – Improves academic and behavioral outcomes – Helps to ensure the delivery of scientifically supported services – Promotes a positive school climate and culture – Maximizes school-based and community resources
