George Washington Impact on America

What did George Washington do that made an impact on America?

He was the 1st president of US

He was the commander in chief of continental army during American revolution

He led colonists to victory

He refused to be president for over 8 years

He is the father of his country

He risked everything for his country

He trained 14000 men for American colonies first army

He defeated British although the British had a much larger army and was the most powerful country in the world
