Some Important State Initiatives Karnataka: Integration of registration, Banks and Courts with Bhoomi Database Haryana: High Resolution Satellite Imagery for entire State. Integration of textual and spatial data and registration. Bihar: Major initiatives in Resurvey through aerial photography. Gujarat: Survey using electronic total station and GIS. All the maps digitized and more than six hundred GIS Layers put on them 9

Programme Management 1. NLRMP is a Mission Mode project for States 2. Project Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee(PSMC) approves projects at Central level 3. Central Technical Advisory Group (CTAG) advises on technical aspects of the programme 4. Project Management Units (PMUs) to be constituted in all States/UTs for programme management -16 States have already constituted PMUs 5. NLRMP Cells to be constituted in all States/UTs for capacity building and training -32 NLRMP Cells have been constituted

How will the NLRMP aid in effective implementation of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Rehabilitation Act 2013 Fair compensation Availability of updated RoRs, sale deeds, registration process etc. in electronic form and records in public domain, will ensure greater transparency and facilitate calculation of fair compensation based on latest market rates. Reduced disputes over land titles Conclusive land titling will ensure greater accuracy and will help in identifying/determining ownership and payment of compensation to the entitled beneficiaries. This will make the land acquisition process easy for the Requiring Body as well as the acquisition authorities.

Detailed Progress Report of States 20 States/UTs have computerized the RoRs: Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Delhi and Puducherry. 6 States/UTs are issuing digitally signed copies of RoRs: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Goa 17 States/UTs have stopped manual issue of RoRs: Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Punjab, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, A&N Island, Chandigarh and Puducherry 19

21 States/UTs have accorded legal sanctity to the computerized copies of RoRs : Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, A&N Islands and Puducherry 23 States/UTs have computerized their Registration offices: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra Odisha, Punjab, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Delhi, Puducherry 18 States/UTs have placed RoRs data on websites: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Goa, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand A&N Island and Puducherry Detailed Progress Report of States
