They will each perform an intro and freestyle moves. The group/gang that has the coolest and best performed moves wins the battle. Hip-hop clothing style consists mainly of baggy clothes (baggy pants, a loose shirt and a large sweater) In this style they often wear a hat, and these hats are usually put on backwards or crooked Sunglasses are often worn, even inside For the shoes they will often wear high top shoes from Nike, Converse, Puma etc. Chains, bling, rings, and large necklaces are often used too

Hip-hop overall is a lifestyle; it effects the way you act, what you eat, the way you dress, the way you walk, etc. Many famous rappers (Lil Wayne, Drake, Eminem, Pitbull) have a hip-hop lifestyle. They act cool, they dress in the hip-hop style, the way they live is hip-hop.
