By Kyle Kampman IOWA WIND FARMS

 Cleaner energy source for the environment.  Cut back on the usage of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gases.  When fully taxable the wind turbines can bring in millions of dollars.  Create many new jobs.  Landowners with wind turbines can receive a profit. BENEFITS OF WIND TURBINES

 This money can help school buy new books, computers, and other equipment.  Hospitals can use this money to make new discoveries in their more advanced research methods. BENEFITS OF THE TAX COLLECTION

 Iowa leads the nation in employment related to the wind energy industry.  More than 6,000 to 7,000 employed in Iowa.  Jobs available include: Manufacturing, construction, operation and maintenance. JOB CREATION

 Wind turbines produce very loud sounds and vibrations in the ground.  The vibrations can cause homes to be damaged such as having cracked walls, weaken foundation and even move the house.  The weather has an affect on the level of noise produced.  Both of these can have a physiological impact on a person, causing nausea, rapid heartbeat, and hearing lose. REASONS WHY PEOPLE DISLIKE THEM

 These wind turbines can be built in less populated regions of the country were people are not affected.  They can be placed out on the country side far away from communities and homes. MEDIATION
