International Congress is AIESEC’s largest annual conference and the biggest youth leadership conference from the world. This conference will bring together almost 1000 young leaders from 110 countries and territories. More than 100 cultures are shared and promoted between the delegates, companies and trainers. Congress Description This conference seeks to create a global platform for young people to engage in forum and discussion on global issues and leadership trainings by some of the world’s most experienced business leaders. The theme of the congress ‘Converging Leaderships & Diversity” aims to connect leaders across different cultures, beliefs and values to come together to make our world a better place. Objective AIESEC is the world’s largest student - run organization. Active in over 1700 universities across more than 107 countries and territories, with more than 800 local committees, our international platform enables young people to explore and develop their leadership potential for them to have a positive impact in society. In partnership with business and higher education, AIESEC has over 60 years of experience in developing high-potential students into globally minded responsible leaders. About AIESEC

On 28 August at Taj Deccan we will have the India Night, a special event where we will see the Indian traditions, food, songs and dances. In 2005 this conference was in India, at Agra. 7 representatives from Romania attended this congress and when they came back they promoted India culture and opportunities. That conference was the starting point for the partnerships between AIESEC India and AIESEC Romania. The Romanian AIESEC members started to go in India and Romania became an attractive framework for the life-changing experiences of the Indian AIESEC members.

If we all have the resources to go to India we will come back and promote India in our national network (1500 members, 2500 alumni, 300 partners) At the end of September we will have our national conference with 200 participants from the 13 committees. We will have a special session where we will show movies, pictures, and we will have a discussion about this conference and India. If will be some companies from Romania that will help us we will invite them to have workshop about India. At the end of October we will a national conference for those that want to go in Exchange and we will create a moment to promote especially India and Indian internships. For all these experiences we will need euro for 9 Romanians to go in India. We can sign partnerships and promote your companies in our activities. India back to Romania
