Conrad Schumann  19 year old policeman  Bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do, what you gonna do…..when Conrad comes for you!!!!!  His job was to shoot anyone who crossed the barbed wire fence

Officer Schumann ““I had no desire to shoot my fellow citizens, and I knew they were about to put up a much stronger wall” JJumped to the West side for freedom

BERLIN WALL IIt separated East and West Berlin IIt separated family and friends WWest Berlin-speak freely, dancing, shopping, etc EEast Berlin- communism, no freedom
