Visualize Success 2012 Morse Code Revived Syntax –Morse Code defines it best – Alphanumeric characters, dots(.) and dashes(-) –Some barcode fonts do not support all ASCII characters. You never want to have part_IDs, warehouse, locations, WOs, purchase orders, customer orders, etc. with the following symbols: !, $, %, *, or a space. Code39 does not handle ^,$, (,),_, [,],{,},\,/,,?,|,commas, etc. –Test by creating Word documents using your barcode font. Then see if scanner can read those symbols. –NOTE: You can purchase barcode fonts suites from 3 rd party vendors that will support these special symbols and spaces… try Code128!
