Description A lion is a mammal that lives in Africa. Males have big manes, and females don’t. Most males are 3 feet tall and 5 to 7 feet long. They weigh 300 to 500 pounds. Cubs have brown spots called rosettes.
Habitat Lions live in Africa. They live on grass lands. Grassy plains are called savannas. Territory can be 100 square miles.
Diet A lion is a carnivore or a meat eater. Females do most of the hunting. When The prey is to Big the lions come in. Males always eat first. They eat buffalo and zebras. Diet
A lion is in danger because of it man. Prater They are hard to see in the dry grass. They defend themselves from hyenas. Survival
Conclusion There are no anther animals quite like a lion.
