My Experience in the UP Program at WCU Jalen Cash

My Disability I have a Intellectual Disability and it didn’t effect it me because I knew I had it every since I was in 5 th grade. I been told that I am high functioning

My High School Year I play football all 4 years of high school and I became the starter at wide receiver and also became the leader of the team and our record was 6-4 I was in Project Unify and this is also about kids who have intellectual disability and I’m also part of the spread the word to end the word and we pledge not to use the R-word. I was in the Beta Club for the first time my senior year.

College Life

I go to the CRC to workout and play basketball I play games in my dorm like uno and other board games Hang out with friends at colleges I went to claymates i go to the movies with my friends Activities at WCU

My College Goals

I will be nice to everybody and talk to more people and focus on my classes

After I graduate college I want to live in Charlotte, NC and work for the Carolina Panthers and do the same for them like I do here at Western Carolina.
