FIDELIO Interface  iPECS-MG Supports interface with Micros-Fidelio Opera, one of hotel management systems. System interoperations between iPECS-MG and Opera are using FIAS (Fidelio Interface Application Specification) and connection is possible with Fidelio server ip and port configurations. Fidelio

 Each extension of iPECS-MG is assigned its own hotel service type, and typical features and services are provided depending on the allocated hotel service type.  Office Station / Guest Station / Front Desk / Service Station. Hotel Service Type - One station can have only one hotel service type. - It is impossible to have a station that is a front desk and also a service station. PGM 502

 Supports only office features, but do not support hotel features(check-in, check- out, maid status and etc).  But all the basic telephony services are available. Office Station Hotel Service Type - The default hotel service type in iPECS-MG system. - The calls from office stations to hotel stations (guest station, front desk, and service station) can be allowed or denied. (Refer to the picture) PGM 501

 A terminal in a hotel guest room.  Hotel-specific features are available. - room monitor - maid status - etc  All the basic telephony services are available. - DN (Directory Number) - system features (Transfer, Forward, Speed Dial, VM features) - CO features (DID, DISA) Guest Station Hotel Service Type - Default station name : ROOM - The calls from guest stations to office stations can be allowed or denied.

Hotel Service Type Front Station  A terminal that can be used in hotel front desk. - check-in/check-out - guest info setting - display - room swapping - etc  Front desk can provide hotel services to the hotel guests and service stations - No limit on the number of front desks. - The attendant can be programmed to be a front desk. - Default station name : FRONT - The calls from front desks to office stations can be allowed or denied.  A terminal for some shops or restaurants in hotel.  Bar charge can be entered in service station. In this case, bar items should be registered first as bar product’s name. Hotel Service Type - Service station  guest station : No call limitation. - Default station name : SVC STATION - At hotel service station, a guest can make an outgoing CO call by using ‘Walking COS’ feature or by using One-Time-CO-Call Enable Feature. - The calls from service stations to office stations can be allowed or denied.  Multiple front desks can be activated.  A station becomes a front desk if it is assigned a hotel service type as front desk. Multiple Front Desk - No limit on the number of front desks. - The attendant can be programmed to be a front desk. In this case, calls between office stations and front desks should be enabled. - Only the latest update will be effective, if multiple front desks program the same settings.

Description Check-In / Modify Check-In Information This feature allows the operator to check-in and change check-in information of rooms. When Guest do Check-In, basic information can be set together. Operation Check-In / Modify Check-In Information 1. Select “CI” button to check-in or guest check in information modification and press check-in button. 2. Fill this form or modify room information and press “save” button. Check-In button

Description Check-Out This feature allows the operator to check-out a guest room. When Check-Out is done by operator, Maid status of the room is automatically changed to "DIRTY ( To be cleaned )". And followings items are automatically cleared in preparation for the next guest: Clear Fields Message Waiting / Guest Name / DND / Wake-Up Time / Call Forward Status / Authorization Code / Maid Status / Station COS / Prepaid Money/ Call charge rate Set Fields ICM Disable / LCD language (go to system attendant's language) /...

Operation Check-Out 1. Select “CO” button to check-out 2. To print out receipt press “Receipt” button. Check-out button

 The use of CO lines from guest stations can be allowed or denied (by Front Desk or PMS). Call Barring CO Call Barring (Room Cut) Operation 1. PGM + “#31”. 2. Station number or a Station number range with “*”. 3. Designate whether to use trunk call. (0 : Allow, 1 : Deny) Condition 1. Upon check-in, room cut off is disabled automatically. 2. Upon check-out, room cut off is enabled automatically. PGM 502

 By the front desk  PMS group 0 : Check ICM Call Barring.  PMS group X : No call limitation to the same group.(X is group no.)  Different PMS groups : Check ICM Call Barring.  Guest rooms  Service Station, Front Desk, Hotel Attendant : No call limitation. Call Barring ICM Call Barring Operation 1. PGM + “#32”. 2. Station number or a Station number range with “*”. 3. Designate whether to use trunk call. (0 : Allow, 1 : Deny) Condition 1. Service station  service stations, front desks and attendants : No call limitation. 2. Front desk  guest stations, service stations, front desk and attendants : No call limitation. 3. Fee For Part Time Operation (PGM503 and PGM507) When check-in / check-out are occurred in same day, part time fee may be charged according to room type of checked in room or hotel policy. Description If guest stays for 2 hours for ‘SINGLE’ room then 4000 (40 % of 10000) will be charged for the room. But guest stays for 5 hours then (100%) will be charged because ‘SINGLE’ room ( = room class 1) doesn’t define part time for 5 hours.

Bar/Mini-Bar Charge Guest should pay for charge at service station or mini-bar when check-out. Mini-bar charge of each room is registered by system attendant (Front desk service station) and service station and guest room. Registered Bar or Mini-bar Charge is stored in BAR record in system and will be displayed or printed in time of Hotel Charge Display or check-out. Description Operation 1. Minus cost must be lower than total bar cost.

Room Rate Register Description Room rates vary according to the room type (or class). There are 20 room classes in iPECS-MG system. Each room class defines ‘room type name’, ‘room cost’ and ‘5 part time indexes’. Operation (PGM503 or PGM#81)

Room Rate Assign Room rate information is included in the total room charge bill. One of 20 different room rates is assigned to individual rooms. This assigning is possible at three different places. : [Hotel Station Attribute (PGM502)], [ Check-In] and [Modify] PGM502-F11 or PGM#82
