What is a Computer Network? Two or more computers which are connected together.

A school network

An office network

A home network

How to make a network? Networking equipment

When a computer is attached to a network it is called a “Workstation”. You need two or more workstations to set up a network.

Each workstation must have a network interface card

A network cable is also needed to connect each workstation together Network Cable

Now they can communicate

What if you have three or more workstations? You need a switch or a hub to connect them together
