Main Idea/Vocabulary Mean: The mean of a set of data is the sum divided by the number of items in the data set. Median: The median is the middle number of the ordered data, or the mean of the middle 2 numbers. Mode: The mode of a set of data is the number/numbers that occur the most often. Measures of Central Tendency: Can be used to describe the center of the data. Describe a set of data using mean, median, mode, and range.
