The Flags/Anthems The anthems are quite similar, they’re both basically saying, to come together as a nation and overcome. The American flag is more patriotic then the Canadian flag to me.

Gaining Independence The Americans gained they’re independence the old fashioned way, through War. The Canadians gained they’re independence in the 1860’s through legal delegation.

Immigrants I like to look at the both of them as a mosaic, because both of them welcome immigrants and neither assimilate you.

Health Care The Canadian health care system will allow you to get treatment without any money, just your provincial health insurance card. The American health care will only cover you if you have the cash money to pay.

Official Languages Canada: English French United States: English

The Conclusion I see Canada as a much more liberal place and America as a capitalists. I think we are different in all the right ways. do these similarities and differences make us as unique from the U.S. as we would like to be? Why or why not?
