Out of this nettle, danger, we pluck this flower, safety. ~William Shakespeare I want to become a police officer because I like to make things easier for people like so little kids could go outside and play and there parents wouldn’t have to worry about all the violence and other things happening also I want to keep people out of violence and let them make the right decisions by following the right decisions and keeping everyone safe from all of the violence.

Enforce laws Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls Patrol assigned areas Conduct traffic stops and issue citations Obtain warrants and arrest suspects Write detailed reports and fill out forms Prepare cases and testify in court

Physical- you need to be in shape so that you can perform the training to become a police officer Indoor- to do the paperwork Outdoor- to chase down the bad guys Hours are probably 12 hours shifts

Must have a high school education or GED and be a graduate of from their agencies before completing a period of on the job training.
