 A program that searches documents for specified keywords and returns a list of the documents where the keywords were found.programkeywords  like Google, Alta Vista and Excite that enable users to search for documents on the World Wide Web.

 Those wishing to locate something would enter a query about what they’d like to find and the engine provides links to content that matches what they want.

Google - The world's most popular search engine. Bing Search: Microsoft's entry into the burgeoning search engine market. Better late than never. Yahoo! Search: The 2nd largest search engine on the web (as defined by a September 2007 Nielsen Netratings report. Nielsen Netratings AltaVista: Launched in 1995, built by researchers at Digital Equipment Corporation's Western Research Laboratory. From 1996 powered Yahoo! Search, since Yahoo technology powers AltaVista.

Instructions:  Design a creative letterhead for your journal. Yes, we will start working in a Journal!  Use text, graphics, formats, and colors that reflect you as an individual.  Include your name, Class Name and Period, and e- mail address.  Save your letterhead as a template. You will be using this template for your assignments.  Insert an image. Apply artistic effects to the image.  Insert a footer with the date last updated.  Apply a theme and customize the theme.  Save your work to your flash drive or it to yourself.
