Physical Description Light cinnamon in color,black-tipped ears & tail Has short coarse fur with a white underside Males are 8ft in length and weigh in at around 150 pounds, while female are around 7ft in length and weigh in at around 90 pounds
Range & Habitat Lives in or near thick wooded areas, steep or rugged terrain, and places with good cover It does not migrate during the winter
Food Mountain lions eat: -deer -mountain goats -big horn sheep -turkeys -mice -raccoons -porcupines
Winter Life The mountain lion does not hibernate during the winter They are most active during this time since snow provides cover for when they hunt
Other Information They lack a strong sense of smell They have sharp eyesight & a good sense of hearing Largest ever weighed in at 276 pounds Cubs remain with mother for 1.5 years
