About the book.  STORMBREAKER was first published on the 4 th of December 2000 and since then the series has evolved into one of the most successful book series in England.  The book was written by the successful author Anthony Horowitz who has written 8 more Alex rider books after this one.  In 2006 a film based of STORMBREAKER was released.  A graphic novel of the book has also been released. Mission Briefing!  Your only relative, Ian Rider, a banker, supposedly has died in a car crash. However there were suspicious men at his funeral and you, as Alex want to find out more! Start mission!

Returning home.  You are returning home from Ian’s funeral and there is a van owned by a company name STRYKER & SON CAR SCRAPPNG. You see they are taking some things from Ian’s office. You must make a decision.  Give chase to the van on your bike. Give chase to the van on your bike.  OR  Ignore it and go about your day. Ignore it and go about your day.

School.  The next day after school ends you go to the secretary’s office and borrow a copy of yellow pages. You look up car dismantlers and you find STRYKER co. Inside. You have to make a choice.  Go to the STRYKER scrap yard to try and find your uncle’s car. Go to the STRYKER scrap yard to try and find your uncle’s car.  OR  Go home and try to forget the whole thing. Go home and try to forget the whole thing.

At the scrap yard.  At the scrap yard you discover your uncle’s car...with bullet holes in the side! Now it is clear that your uncle was shot to death but by who? Who would kill a bank manager? You get in the car to investigate but you hear some men coming towards the car.  Stay in the car to try to avoid being seen. Surrounded!  You get out of the car and make a run for it. However a large group of workers corner you. One says “Oy kid what are you doing here!” Continue

Arriving at the station Luckily you escape injury and decide to follow the men through the station. Eventually the men reach a passport photo booth and enter, they do not come back out!
