Introduction Hi we are a group from the exhibition who will explain you about internet addiction in children. This group is conformed by four people who are: Javier Mauricio Perafán, Santiago Dueñas, Santiago Torres and Laura Linares. Here in this power point presentation we are going to talk about some issues from internet addiction.

what is internet addiction Internet addiction is an addiction that it makes your lives a complete depend on the addiction. Internet had being growing a lot over this last decade. ‍ Nowadays almost everyone has got a computer and easy acces to internet, so children are having an easy way to get to internet. ‍ In the actuall times, chioldren are depending more on internet because: For social networking, entertainment, music and etc. ‍ There are attitudes in chindren that make them more likely to be addictive to internet, this attitudes and personalities are: Children with ADHD, children that have difficulties communicating and interacting well witgh others, children that are usually excluded towards others, children that find difficulties and fear socializing and children that suffer depression. ‍ It´s more usual to find girls addictive to internet.

What is internet addiction 2 part Internet addiction is basicly an adiction to the Emotion and is described such as an impulse control disorder, which does not involve use of an intoxicating drug and is very similar to pathological gambling. Some Internet users may develop an emotional attachment to on-line friends and activities they create on their computer screens. Internet users may enjoy aspects of the Internet that allow them to meet, socialize, and exchange ideas through the use of chat rooms, social networking websites, or "virtual communities." Other Internet users spend endless hours researching topics of interest Online or "blogging". Blogging is a contraction of the term "Web log", in which an individual will post commentaries and keep regular chronicle of events. It can be viewed as journaling and the entries are primarily textual. ‍ Similar to other addictions, those suffering from Internet addiction use the virtual fantasy world to connect with real people through the Internet, as a substitution for real-life human connection, which they are unable to achieve normally

What is ADHD? How internet addiction is affecting children at school? Internet addiction is affecting the children responsibilities at school, they are in internet all the time and they don’t care about their responsibilities, such as: homework. Some children do their homework very quickly, and some of them just don’t do it because they are more interested in internet. We made a survey to find which grade is the most affected by this problem, we found out that 4 th and 3 rd grade were the most affected.

How internet addiction is affecting the society

Some possible solutions for this problem Make a psychological treatment to children who are addicted to internet. Create a specific schedule for using internet. Establish rules for using internet. Make them know what the consequences from internet addiction.
