When to Use the Translation Table When a uniform title plus language is provided AND When main entry is a personal author or title Add the numbers in the table to the Cutter for the main entry

Additional Rules If two languages are named in the uniform title, Cutter for the 1 st language If the caption reads “By language, A-Z,” Cutter for the language itself Example:.E5 for English.F7 for French.G4 for German For translations of serials classed in the same number, assign successive Cutters so that translations are in alphabetical order by language
