Misunderstanding Scripture There are at least 9 major causes of misinterpretation of Scripture A failure to recognize the communication gaps existing between the modern reader and the people of the Bible A failure to distinguish between the dispensations A failure to recognize different covenants
Continued A failure to distinguish between three ethnics groups within the Bible They are: The Jews, The Gentiles, and The Church A failure to study all the Bible has to say about a given topic or subject A failure to understand the context
