The Ring of Kerry Many tourists like to travel the Ring of Kerry. It is a 170km circular scenic route that begins in Killarney and goes through Kenmare and the Gap of Dunloe.

Climate As Kerry is so mountainous, it gets some of the highest rainfall in Ireland. However, the climate in Kerry is milder than in other parts of Ireland. This is because of the North Atlantic Gulf Stream that flows along the coast of Kerry.
