Program/Satellite Initiatives Satellite Science Week (18-22 Mar) and NOAA Satellite Conference (NSC) 8-12 Apr – Successful Conferences – JPSS PGRR Projects well presented in various sessions – Posters were valuable even if not briefed – At NSC - SNPP capabilities included in a lot of briefings outside of JPSS PGRR Project presentations Additional PGRR Briefings – NOAA Testbed Workshop (2-4 Apr) – GPM Workshop (2-4 Apr) Extending the use of Direct Broadcast – CCNY and DMSP Mark IVB Determining PGRR Work tied to Sandy Supplemental once decisions are made Evaluate GOES-R working closely with Alaska in satellite training – Folmer briefing, other telecon sessions in the next few weeks
