INTRODUCTIONS  1.) Why are you here?  2.) Have you ever heard of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) and if so, what kind of CAM related activity have you had the pleasure of experiencing?  3.) What would you like to learn from this class?

WHAT IS COMPLIMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE (CAM)?  CAM consists of various groups of health and medical care systems, products and practices that are not usually thought of as being part of conventional medicine (NCCAM, 2012).

WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?  Chiropractic is a non-invasive complete healthcare system dedicated to optimizing, restoring, and preserving one’s health by means of hands on care (Taking Charge, 2013).

BENEFITS OF CHIROPRACTIC Relief Examples:  Back Pain  Headaches  Asthma  Allergies

CHIROPRACTIC RISKS  Is it safe?  Is it invasive?  Will it hurt?
