After visiting the springs, have your child look online or check out a book about it.

What can we do over the Summer? Go to the beach! Look for shells/animals that have washed up on shore. Take pictures and then have your child look them up on the internet or go to the library and find a book about them.

Make or purchase some flash cards for multiplication and division facts and keep them in the car. Have your student practice flash cards for 15 minutes of travel time. THEY MUST BE PROFICIENT IN THIS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN 5 TH GRADE!
