Federal, state, and local government and private industry Non-federal participants must have a federal sponsor Who Qualifies

TSP  Objective: to ensure priority restoration of communications lines most critical to the security and safety of American citizens  Protection during disasters: floods, forest fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and terrorist attacks  Provides guaranteed priority restoration of telecom services when service providers’ resources are overextended

How GETS Works  User identifies key personnel  User requests GETS cards from NCS  User distributes cards to key emergency personnel  Cards contain special dialing instructions and PINs
