Ruins of Rova The Queens Palace or known to the locals as the Manjakamiadana Palace was tragically burnt down in 1995 and became known as the Ruins of Rova. The Ruins of Rova can still be visited today even though a lengthy renovation has begun to take place to restore one of Madagascar’s greatest landmarks.

The Old Prison of Nosy-Be Rue Passot prison was built in 1855 when the island was still a French colony. What is left of the old prison can still be visited today along with the local graveyard.

Parc National de L’ Isalo This is Madagascar’s leading national parks which is home to Canyon des Singes pictured below. With numerous walking trails and swimming holes it is a hikers dream.
