4 Graduate Studies Overview  The Deanship of Graduate Studies was established in  It was the first Graduate College in Saudi Arabia and in Gulf Arabian States.  The University was the first institution in Saudi Arabia to introduce Ph.D. programs in engineering in 1984

16 Admission Requirements for MS Programs B.S. Degree. A GPA of 3.00 or higher on a scale of Three letters of recommendation from the faculty who taught you. Completion of TOEFL with a minimum score for MS admission of 68 (IBT). IELTS is also accepted with a minimum score of 5.5. TOEFL is waived if your GPA in ENGL 101, 102 and 214 > Satisfactorily meeting any additional departmental or university admission requirements.
