BACKGROUND ON GENERAL PLANNING CONSULTANT (GPC) SELECTION Currently the TPOs have one GPC under contract. For new selection, one GPC will be hired, due to the anticipated number of projects available in the Unified Planning Work Program. The current GPC contract is three years ending in October The new contract will also be a three year time period. All respondents will be evaluated in accordance with Section (4), F.S. and the contract fee will be negotiated in accordance with Section , F.S.

FINAL PHASE OF GPC SELECTION PROCESS In April 2015 the Florida-Alabama TPO, Okaloosa-Walton TPO and Bay County TPO will be presented with the recommended firm from the GPC Selection Committee and confirm or reject the recommendation If the recommended firm from the GPC Selection Committee is confirmed by the TPOs then negotiations will begin for a contract with that firm
