Advantages and Disadvantages of Technology

In Healthcare Healthcare has improved vastly over the years, an example of this is in radiography. Radiography is the study of bones and it uses medical imaging, (X-rays) to help diagnose broken bones and other various illnesses. It was first developed over 100 years ago and thanks to technology advances, it has enabled radiographers to become more aware of the human boday and how to treat patients.

Advantages/Disadvantage in health care. Makes finding resources much easier Makes it easier not only for professionals, but for students alike. Saves lives Advantages Disadvantages Very expensive. Can cause severe damage, if it goes wrong. Requires specific training, which again, will cost money.

Advantages/Disadvantage in Education Prepares the generation for what life is like in an up to date environment. Teaches them important skills that could be use in work. Teachers can also value from learning the new skills Disadvantages- Can be dangerous, if used in the wrong way. Very expensive, and requires a lot of training from staff. Can cause more problems than successes if the equipment is abused in an ill manor.

Advantages/Disadvantage in the Workplace. Keeps the particular business up to date with the modern world of technology. Is a great promoter for that particular business. Great for advertising, promotions etc. Disadvantages- Again, it is very expensive. The technology is constantly changing, so is constantly required to be updated. Can be used in the wrong way.
