Becca Hendrix

1. Technological progress make our society more convenient and safe 2. Helps develop less wealthy countries and society 3. Cell phones and computers can help increase the amount of work that gets done in and out of the classroom

4. Technology is used in work places, so using it during school time helps to prepare for work situations 5. Using websites (like turnitin.com) can prevent cheating and plagarism

Technology is an important part of everyone’s daily life, even in school. It helps students to communicate and have experience.

1. Technology is controlling us and our future 2. People think that they can’t live with out the modern technology 3. Technology can easily distract students from learning and homework.

4. Students, often time, will be more likely to cheat using cell phones and computers 5. Students have been known to have a much shorter attention span because of technology

Technology can harm students by distracting them from lectures in the classroom as well as homework outside of the classroom. Website

Remember the Titans The clip is of Coach Boone making his players run until they get to the site of Gettysburg, and he teaches them the powers of coming together as a team. This is a great teaching strategy. Taking his players and telling them the story of Gettysburg helped them come together and put aside all of their differences and even become unlikely friends.

“You listen, and you take a lesson from the dead. If we don't come together right now on this hallowed ground, we too will be destroyed, just like they were. I don't care if you like each other of not, but you will respect each other. And maybe... I don't know, maybe we'll learn to play this game like men.”
