Lab Equipment

Graduated Cylinder A graduated cylinder, measuring cylinder or mixing cylinder is a piece of laboratory equipment used to measure the volume of a liquid

Double Pan Balance A Double pan Balance is used to measure grams and to compare objects. This is a type of weighing scale where you put weights on one pan and the substance you are weighing on the other. When the two pans swing freely with the needle in the middle you have the correct weight.

Scale Weighing scales are a measuring instrument for determining the weight or mass of an object.

Ruler A straight strip or cylinder of plastic, wood, metal, or other rigid material, typically marked at regular intervals, to measure distances.
