Customized English Training for Your Needs BCH ENGLISH

Planning for a One-on-One Training or Group Training Stage 7 – 3 to 6 Months after beginning, repeat Stages 1 -6 Stage 6 – Work through the agreed upon plan while allowing flexibility Stage 5 – Trim and further customize proposal to fully fit the Students‘ Needs and Wants Stage 4 –Propose the Customized Plan to the Students Stage 3 - Customize a Plan For the Students Stage 2 - Strengths & Weaknesses and the Needs & Wants of the Students Stage 1 - Meet & Greet and the Needs Analysis

Stage One Meet & Greet Develop the student/trainer relationship through question and answer session from both students and trainers. Useful in alleaviating fears of speaking in the classroom. Needs Analysis What does the student need English for? - Speaking with customers - Speaking with international colleagues - Telephoning - Presentations - Holidays - Etc... Expectations And finally most importantly what are the student‘s expectations? Through the question and answer of the „Meet & Greet" and the Needs Analysis we can find the current speaking skills as well as basic grammar knowledge or misconceptions.

Stage Two Strengths & Weaknesses gathered from Meet & Greet Needs Analysis Needs and Wants of the Students What does the student need English for? What are their expectations?

Stages Three to Five Customization Process Customize a plan through taking the Needs, Wants, Strengths and Weakness of the student or groups then recommend basic material and activities which are consistent with the requirements and wishes of the students and making sure the students are content with the recommendations.

Stage Six Grammar needs through books such as „Essential Grammar in Use“ „English Grammar in Use“ Vocabulary needs through books such as „English Vocabulary is Use – Pre- intermediate & Intermediate“ Specialized needs such as presentations through books such as „Presenting in English“ Reading activities through material such as „Business Spotlight“ Work through the agreed upon plan while allowing for flexibility Examples of Material
