The ECA Rugby Program started in the 2007 – 2008 School year Initial Plan: Create an inexpensive and sustainable physical athletic program for both sexes at L.R.H.S. Creating: 1.Internal, personal self-motivated success. 2.Success to motivate towards graduation or a Post Secondary opportunity. 3.Increase School Spirit.

So What has happened Since? Fall & Spring Training Sessions Turf Field Investment Safe Rugby Program Team Quebec Rugby Tour

The four goals are centered on success, achievement and growth… “provide a great variety of learning opportunities through special concentration programs for students, innovative teaching approaches, proactive training…” “provide students and employees with a safe and healthy environment in which to develop their potential…” “…deals with the component of motivation. If one is involved in their own learning and actively participates, a sense of ownership and pride will undoubtedly develop. Students and employees will better perform if they feel their contribution is not only essential but, more importantly, valued. S.W.L.S.B. Strategic Plan
