Not Sure About A Major Not Sure About A Major Don’t Sweat It! Presented By: Career Services

Facts About Major Selection Facts About Major Selection n All freshmen/transfer students enter Lycoming College as undeclared n 90% of entering students are able to identify one or more potential majors. Those who are undecided about potential areas of interest will work with academic advisors, faculty, and Career Services to identify and explore possible choices. n In the first year or two, students narrow their field of potential majors to those which they will declare. n Students may declare a combination of three majors and minors. n 30% of freshmen entering in Fall 2005 declared by the end of the freshman year. n All students must declare at least one major by the end of the sophomore year.
