Alternate solutions Nobody really proposed any alternate solutions. Mainly because nobody was as big a genius as him but also because what he was doing was regarded more as mad scientistry

New processes Because nobody liked him and everybody thought he was crazy nobody really built upon his ideas. And up until fairly recently nobody truly looked into what he did.

Testing documentation Yes. He kept many notes and logs of his tests. One of his tests was he built a very large tesla coil in an area that was far away from the city and sought to find the radius of the tesla coil to which it could provide power.

Quality control Because this was never seriously manufactured the tesla coil never went through quality control.

In use today? Yes it is still in use today. However it is used only as a novelty or for shock and awe effect as real applications for this machine have yet to be fully utilized

disposed It is taken apart and the parts reused but typically they have an incredibly long lifespan with regular maintenance and don’t get disposed of too often
