POP ART !!!!!!! Pop comes from the word POPULAR It began as a style of art in England in the mid 1950s and came to the U.S later the same decade. Pop art includes images of popular consumer goods, advertising, comic books, and famous individuals.

Andy Warhol- the most famous of all the American Pop artists. The man on the left is Warhol. Do you know who the others are?

Pop Art Project For this portion of the project you will use Photoshop Elements software to alter one of the digital photographs found in the Caywood shared folder located in the “U” drive. You will use one of the photos to create an Andy Warhol inspired self-portrait.
Directions- read & follow them carefully Open Photoshop Elements using the icon in the launcher Use the pull down menu under file, scroll down to “open”, go the Caywood shared folder in the “U” drive, open 6I or 6N folder and open your photo. Crop the photo so your face is the primary subject. You can do this by using the select tool. The crop command is in the pull down menu under “image”.
