Objectives Participants will be able to: 1)Describe the requirements for CPSP CQI/QA in the MCAH Scope of Work 2)Discuss the accomplishments of the CQI/QA Workgroup in )Use the CQI/QA tools available 4)Describe the experience of other PSCs using the tools 5)Plan how to fulfill the requirements in their LHJ 2

SOW Requirements Consultation/Technical assistance (TA) to providers –List consultation/TA to providers Annual CQI/QA visit to providers –Assure program implemented according to Policies and Procedures –Assure that clients are receiving required nutrition, psychosocial and health education services Report activities in the Annual Report 3

CQI/QA workgroup In response to requests in the 2012 Annual Meeting, MCAH instituted a CQI/QA Workgroup WG met and developed three tools: –Administrative Review Tool –Chart Review Tool –EHR Review Tool 4

Questions for Discussion How do you conduct CQI/QA in an efficient manner? How do you provide TA to providers? What is the provider response? What suggestions do you have for improvement? What additional support do you need from MCAH? 6
