 You should have a smoke alarm on every floor of your house  Inside and outside each bedroom  Hallways  Basements Where are your smoke alarms?

 Look for smoke alarms in your home  Have a parent or an adult test the alarm every month  Replace the batteries in your smoke alarm when you change the clocks You can help!!

 What do you do when your smoke alarm goes off?  1. Get out fast! Know 2 ways out  2. Meet in a designated meeting area  3. Call 911  Fires can be very scary. NEVER hide under your bed or in your closet!! Escape Plan

 When leaving your house, crawl low on the floor  Feel the door before opening it, if it is hot find another way out  If your clothes catch on fire stop, drop, and roll  Go to your designated meeting area outside and do not go back in the house Escape Plan
